2's Teachers
Miss Nelly joined our Preschool Family as a teacher last year. Miss Nelly has 3 amazing children, ages 11, 9 and 4 who make her very proud. She enjoys spending time with her family, travel, exercise and books. As a graphic designer, she loves art projects and designs and dedicated her career to children's design. Originally from Colombia, Miss Nelly moved to the US 22 years ago and Spanish is her first language.
Miss Jennifer joins the Preschool staff this year, but her family has been part of the Preschool Family for many years. Jennifer and her husband have 3 sons (Aric-11, Ethan-9 and Tanner-6), who have all graduated from the Preschool. Their youngest, a sweet little girl - Wesley, is graduating from the Preschool this year. Their boys attend "The Big School". Jennifer has a degree in Art History from Georgia Southern.

Miss Ada is very excited to join the Preschool and the St. Catherine's family this year. Her child is beginning at the "Big School" this year in 5th grade. Miss Ada comes to us from Chicago. Coming from a family of First Responders, Miss Ada has worked in the Emergency Department and a Substance Abuse facility. She is excited to finish her degree in Elementary Education here in Georgia
Miss Brandi's family has been part of our Preschool family for many years. She and her husband Jeff have 2 daughters, Claire and Ellie and 1 son, Daniel, who are all Preschool graduates. Miss Brandi joined the Preschool as a teacher in 2018. Miss Brandi's dad was in the Army, so she moved often and even lived in Italy during Middle School. A Boston University graduate, Miss Brandi enjoys reading, baking, traveling, chocolate, hiking and spending time with her family.
Miss Dawn's son, Garrett (27) and daughter, Amber (26) attended our Preschool, so although she is in her 9th year as a teacher, she has been part of our Preschool family for many years. Miss Dawn's husband, Jim, is a retired pilot. She loves spending time with others, especially her family. Miss Dawn loves laughing and God. A former gymnast, Miss Dawn was born in Michigan and grew up in Charleston.
Mrs. Melissa Bell will be joining the class as the Tuesday/Thursday assistant. Melissa taught with us in the past in our Wee 2’s class. She actually was Brandi’s oldest daughters’ teacher. Melissa is a certified teacher and an amazing mother of 5 children. Her oldest is in college and her youngest daughter is in our K-4’s class. Melissa is teaching second grade language arts and math at St. John the Baptist Hybrid school on Monday and Wednesdays.
