Miss Karen, our Director, begins her 28th year at St. Catherine's Preschool. She began at the Preschool as the Movement teacher in her first 2 years at the Preschool. Miss Karen loves spending time with her family, reading, hiking and visiting the beach. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she is one of five girls in her family.
Miss Sarah begins her 5th year at the Preschool, transitioning from the classroom to her new role as Preschool Administrator. She has been part of the St. Catherine's family for many years, including her time at "The Big School". Her daughter, Grace (13) is a student at the "Big School". She loves spending time with her family, her husband, Jaime and dogs. An enthusiastic participant in 5ks, Miss Sarah also enjoys reading, cooking, baking and a good nap on a Sunday afternoon.
Although this is her second year teaching, Miss Karen and her family have been part of the St. Catherine's Family since we were in the little white church on Cherokee Street. Miss Karen and her husband, Jeff have seven children, all Preschool graduates. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Miss Karen was a professional ballerina and has been teaching dance for over 30 years. She keeps busy with her family and their activities. They love traveling, hiking, camping and movie nights.
Miss Sue has been with St. Catherine's Preschool for many, many years. She is so excited to return this year as the music teacher once again. Miss Sue has 2 beautiful daughters, Angela and Christina. Angela is married to Tyler and they have 2 adorable sons, Luca and Cameron. Christina is married to Chad and they have two fur babies. Miss Sue loves yoga, reading, the beach and most of all spending time with her family.
Beginning her 17th year at the Preschool, Miss Melissa and the Robinson Family have been a Preschool Family since 2003 when her oldest son, Greyson began his time here. He's now a senior at KSU! Anthony, a junior at UGA and Alaina a junior at NPHS also graduated from St. Catherine's Preschool. Originally from Long Island, NY, Melissa and her husband, John love spending time with their family. Miss Melissa enjoys reading, puzzles like sudoku, Yankee Baseball, UGA football and ATL United soccer.
Miss Linda began her time at the Preschool in 2000. Through the years, she has taken a few breaks for the birth of her youngest daughter, Caroline (now a junior in HS) and then later to help after her daughter Coleen and her husband, Robbie blessed the family with their beautiful daughter, Avery. Miss Linda's son, Connor, lives and works in Manhattan. A native of Long Island, New York, Miss Linda is glad to be back at the Preschool in her new role as Resource Coordinator.
