Kathleen Gilroy
I was born and raised in Old Bridge, NJ. This is my eighth year working here at St. Catherine’s Preschool in the 3 year old class.
In 1992 I married my husband Edward; we both are from the same town and went to the same Middle and High Schools. We have 4 daughters, Kaitlyn 15, Megan 14, Erin 11 ½, Colleen 10. We have been living in Georgia for 14 years. In 2001, I decided to help my daughter’s Girl Scout troop and I am still their leader. In 2003, I decided to become the Service Unit Director for Girl Scouts in Paulding County.
I retired for one year and this is my 4th year back as Service Unit Director.
Before we moved to Georgia, I was and still am licensed as a Cosmetologist. I am a Sales Representative for Avon. I was also an EMTA and Paramedic Assistant for the local First Aid Squad. I also did this job for a living with a company called Multi-Care in South Amboy, NJ and in New York City, NY.
I left this job just before my first daughter was born. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a rabbit, and a horse. I enjoy watching NASCAR and comedy on TV, camping, reading, hanging out with my friends, and just being with my family.

Originally from Long Island, New York I relocated to Georgia in 1995 with my husband John. I have three wonderful and extremely active children Greyson, Anthony and Alaina that keep me on my toes every day. When I have some down time I enjoy scrapbooking, reading, working on puzzles like Sudoku and spending time with my family.
This is my fourth year on staff and as part of the terrific threes team. However, I have been a part of this wonderful preschool since 2003 when I enrolled my first child here. The preschool has been an important part of my children's education and spiritual growth. I am so happy and proud to be a part of your child's journey through these halls. I look forward to meeting and getting to know you and all our new students as well as welcoming back our returning preschoolers. I know we'll have yet another wonderful year here at St. Catherine's Preschool.
