St. Catherine’s Preschool is so excited about the new 2010-2011 school year.  Our year will begin with a Parent Orientation night for the moms and dads of our preschoolers on Wednesday, August 11th at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

During this orientation, the parents will be able to meet their child’s teacher and visit their classrooms.  On Friday, August 13th, we will have Meet and Greet Morning where our preschoolers have the opportunity to meet their teacher for the first time and see their classrooms.  Monday, August 16th and Tuesday, August 17th will be the first days of school for our preschoolers.  During our first week of school, the Pickle Patch Book Bus will be in the parking lot stocked with many wonderful and interesting books.  Please feel free to drop by and shop.  The Pickle Patch Book Bus will be open from Monday, August 16th through Friday, August 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  All proceeds go towards purchasing books for our preschool library.

We cannot wait to welcome back our returning families and meet our new families.  The newest addition to our preschool family will be our Wee Two’s group.  This precious group of little ones will be ages 16 months to 23 months.  The Wee Two’s program will have a structured curriculum which will include art, music, movement, playground, outdoor classroom and library.  These classes will be offered two days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.
